A Clinical Resource Browser

CareCentral is a highly customizable web based environment that leverages powerful underlying security and connectivity features. CareCentral is an overlay that allows clinical information resources and applications scattered over any number of locations to be access and viewed through a simple elegant interface.

CareCentral's unique ability to enable multiple concurrent connections to any number of remote gateway servers provides the underlying secure network for the CareCentral browser interface. Built-in security features insure that only authorized users are able to access sensitive resources. Whether analyzing lab results located in one city, or patient records in another, the practitioner is only required to know how to use a common web browser such as Internet Explorer to access clinical resources.

Each implementation of CareCentral is carefully customized by CO3 Corp’s Professional Services, in consultation with the full spectrum of providers and institutions.

Secure Collaborative Networks

CareCentral includes a dynamic web platform which allows an individual or community of users to publish, manage and organize a variety of content.  CareCentral integrates many popular features of content management systems, weblogs (blogs), automated advanced publishing tools and discussion-based community functions into one easy-to-use interface.

CO3 Corp designs customized secure collaborative networks to be used for a combination of knowledge management, web publishing and private community interaction purposes:

  • Content Management
    Using a simple, browser-based interface, members can publish to a number of available content modules: collaborative books, articles, blogs, polls, images, forums, downloads, etc.  A powerful and flexible classification system allows hierarchical classifications, cross-indexing of publishing nodes and multiple category sets for various content types.
  • Weblog. 
    Also called blogs, weblogs are popular venues for individual or group publishing. CareCentral supports RSS syndication for each individual blog and can be set to notify other users when new content is posted on a specific node.
  • Discussion-based community
    As well as topic oriented threaded discussion boards, comment boards attached to most content types, make it simple for members to discuss new posts.

A Next Generation Research Platform

CO3 Professional Services will further customized CareCentral to function as a very powerful Clinical Research Platform. Again, by leveraging its powerful underlying connectivity and security capabilities, CareCentral can concurrently connect to and query multiple databases regardless of where they are located. Each database interface is abstracted to enable unified queries from a single web based interface. Query results are transformed on the fly providing researchers with a harmonized view of their structured clinical data. Research can be undertaken on live bases or by using CareCentral Unified Query function to first populate a dedicated research database.

 CareCentral is also capable of exploiting session Meta Data generated by user activity. CareCentral is the only connectivity solution that generates a granular audit trail of network and resource usage. Session Meta Data provides valuable system usage information for decision support and efficiency analyses.

CareCentral further provides researchers with another unique and novel source of research material - data generated in the various publishing and collaboration tools discussed in the section above. When extended out to the patient community, large amounts of searchable community and Med generated content make CareCentral the most advanced research platform available today.
